Nigeria:  No Presidential address today - Presidency declines earlier scheduled Presidential address

Femi Adesina, the special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, has said that contrary to the wide-published report, there is no plan the president will address the country today Monday, May 18.

It was earlier reported that President Muhammadu Buhari would address Nigerians on a nation-wide broadcast concerning the easing of the lockdown caused by coronavirus.

This was revealed by the national coordinator of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, Aliyu Sani. He said that in the address fixed for Monday, May 18, President Buhari would decide whether the country would embark on a second phase of the easing of the lockdown.

Unfortunately, the presidential special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina in a tweet message on Monday stressed that "none was planned" as being speculated. The media aide, however, said the next moves on the novel coronavirus pandemic will be conveyed to Nigerians during the usual Presidential Task Force briefing on Covid-19.

No presidential broadcast on COVID-19 updates today. None was planned. Rather, the Presidential Task Force will during its usual media briefings bring the nation up to speed on the next steps.

Meanwhile the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra Mazi hand Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has accused Mr. Micheal Jiang, MD of the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation of (CCECC) of trying to deceive Nigerians in today’s broadcast, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu assured Mr. Micheal Jiang that IPOB will expose him and rip him apart.

His facebook post reads:

I want to warn Mr Micheal Jiang, MD of the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), the new Chinese colonial master of Nigeria and protector of the immoral Aisha Buhari, that we know the techniques you intend to use tonight to deceive the gullible people of Nigeria.

-There are only three deception techniques at your disposal in the FAKE broadcast of a dead Buhari you want to air tonight, namely:

1. Hyper-realistic Buhari face mask, like the first picture below, worn by the shy and frightened Aisha Buhari's boyfriend, with a digitally remastered Buhari audio voice-over.

2. You second option is the DEEP FAKE face grafting technique. Here you simply graft a face from dead Buhari’s old videos onto the face of an actor trained to mimmick Buhari mannerisms but the voice will be a digitally manipulated Buhari voice-over which your country China perfected.
