Not less than three military personnel have recently taken to social media to publicly criticize the incompetence of the Army Chief of Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Yusuf Buratai. One complained about the inability of the Army to give them reinforcement and equipment in their fight against Boko Haram terrorists. Sadly, the commander who made that video has been relieved of his duty. The Boko Haram sect which is suffering severe casualties from Chadian soldiers keep killing Nigeria soldiers like rats.
We have also seen another who took to social media to show the masses how Boko Haram decimated and killed many of his colleagues.
He was also arrested and court-martialed.
Just two days ago, another soldier in a video stated it point-blank that due to the incompetence of the Army Chief of Staff, many Nigerians are dying in the hands of the terrorists. However, the reaction from the government has been arrest upon arrest. The said soldier was yesterday arrested. Meanwhile, bandits and terrorists killing the people are walking free and still unleashing mayhem on innocent civilians.
What these soldiers said is exactly what IPOB led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been lamenting since 2015. But these soldiers were used to kill hundreds of IPOB members for the past five years. Today, a soldier is calling on people to stand with him to face the evil people.
There is this mistake people make that always favors the oppressors. I have read some people say that the soldier should be left on his own, because it is the same soldier that will be used against unarmed protesters. The truth is that those saying these things are not far from the truth; but we must be careful when saying all these things. Whatever that made the soldiers to start talking, without minding the consequences, should not be taken lightly. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has said it a very long time ago that when he is done with Nigeria, Somalia will be better than the British establishment. Today, everything he said has all come to past.
We must encourage the soldiers and police to understand the time we are in; especially the soldiers of Eastern extraction serving in the Nigeria military and police. They must be made to understand that Nigeria is not worth dying for. Your loyalty should be for your people. Don't forget that in 1966, more than 300 Eastern Soldiers were massacred by Northern Nigeria soldiers. When you say it won't happen again, do remember that it was just 54years ago that it first took place.
Nigeria is not working, has never worked and can never work. That is the truth we all must embrace. The only reason Nigeria has not started boiling is because of a systematic damage being carried out by the Nigeria successive government using mis-education of Nigerians as a dangerous tool. You hardly see a Nigerian who can think deeply and rightly. That is why the worse governor in Nigeria still have millions of supporters. That is why PDP can accept the worst man in APC should he decamp, and vice versa.
What is happening today in Nigeria is not any way near to what happened in 1966 which consequently opened the door to numerous coupe d'etat. But here, no one is talking. The few that have dared to talk have no support from the masses they're speaking for. This is because Nigeria politicians are playing the people. If you rise up, they accuse you of a lot of things. A protest can be countered immediately by the politicians with ordinary 30,000 naira. They only need to promise some miserable Nigerians 500 naira each, and they will be on the street protesting against what should benefit them. Sometimes, these recruited protesters would not even be informed the reason for the protest until they start the protest.
We should peacefully end Nigeria to avoid bloodletting. We can't continue pretending to be one. Why talk about war, when peaceful division will cost us nothing?
Stop thinking of rebuilding Nigeria. It is a waste of time. Think about the division of Nigeria. It will save lots of lives.
