 PRESS RELEASE: Disclaimer By OYC National President On The IPOB’s Eastern Security Network

The National President of Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC), Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka has debunked the story making the rounds with his picture that the youth wing of Ohanaeze issued a statement, ‘distancing itself from the launching of the Eastern Security Network by  IPOB.’

We wish to state categorically that at no point in time did we issue any official or unofficial press statement relating to the issue of Eastern Security Network and we would like it to remain that way.

If at all or at any point in time we decide to react to the issue in contention, we know the right platforms to use and it would also appear on all our authorised media platforms.

We therefore, wish to inform the general public and Ndigbo at large that Ohanaeze Youth Council(OYC) under the leadership of Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka support every security measure in Igbo land to protect our life and property.

We, therefore, urge the general public to disregard any publication on any platform reporting about any opinion or statement not issued by the OYC youth leader himself or which is published without his support, intention or imprimatur as it is clearly the handiwork of mischief makers.

We have directed our legal team to get in touch with legit. com online media and sue them for deformation of character and organization.
