Open Letter To President Uhuru Kenyatta Of Kenya
Kenyatta |
Dear Mr. President,
I never thought that a day like this will ever come when I will pick up my pen to write to you with such a heavy heart.
Sir, I am a fanatical Biafran journalist from a media house, Family Writers Press International under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. I am one amongst those persons who believes, that it is either Biafra or nothing. It was a big shock when the news of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's arrest broke out. And as a matter of fact, I so anticipated it to have been the mastermind of Britain, but I got more dumbfounded to hear that this humble gentleman (Kanu), was arrested in your country, Kenya. When the Kenyan ambassador to Nigeria refuted the allegation, many believed him, including my very self. But to my utmost surprise, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's lead counsel, confirmed through his press statement after visiting his client at the dungeon of Nigeria's secret security outfit, Department of Security Services (DSS), that he was actually abducted in your country. What a shame indeed you are, to our beloved Africa!
Looking at you, I previously thought you were civilized enough to have imbibed the tenets of democracy, rule of law and due processes, but this single act of wickedness, perpetrated under your watch, has gravely dented your integrity, both before Biafrans and the entire global community. It has proven that those things your fellow Kenyan citizens were saying about you, are all true after all. Your involvement in the arrest and abduction of the IPOB leader, has evidenced that your election was indeed, characterized by violence and blood letting. It is so presently clear that you are among the many African leaders who are busy ripping Africa dry of their personal interests, busy despising legal due processes and rule of law.
Sadly, it is said that Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe, a Biafran, greatly rendered assistance to your own father when he was fighting for the independence of Kenya, of which you are supposed to replicate even to Azikiwe's children but you rather chose to back off with betrayal. You, with the help of your security agencies, bold facedly, abducted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, detained, drugged and tortured him for eight (8) days and still went on to hand him over to terror minded government of Nigeria. You proceeded to deny ever having hands in his abduction. How much were you actually paid for this act of inhumanity?
You so forgot that the money will not last forever and the dent this betrayal has put on your reputation will forever remain, especially in the minds of the great people of Biafra all over the world. There have been many bad stories about your government that appeared as mere accusations, but this abduction and illegal extradition of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has given irrefutable proof to them all.
Sir, I must assure you that the Biafra restoration project has reached the stage of no return. And whether you and your fellow African despots believe it or not, Biafra most assuredly, must be restored. And I pray that God should give you and your likes, life and good health to witness this coming glorious event.
Yours Faithfully,
Mazi Chidiebere Obulose
