The Kenyan Betrayal Of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu And The Attached Consequences
Nnamdi Kanu |
It is no more news that the indefatigable leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was criminally abducted and handed over to the Nigerian government, but worthy of note at this material time, is the stunning revelation given by Kanu's lawyer, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, regarding circumstances that shrouded his re-arrest by the Nigerian government.
Following the Barrister's permission by the Nigerian authorities to be allowed audience with his client, a vista of authentic information was opened to the already restive and anxious Biafrans about the IPOB leader. The ordeal Mazi Nnamdi Kanu went through during his arrest, abduction, detention and deteriorating health status, was not only despicably inhuman but crude and condemnable.
On Friday 2nd July 2021, the legal luminary, Barrister Ifeanyi Ejiofor, confimatively revealed to the teaming angry IPOB/Biafran followers both home and abroad, about Kenya's complicity in the arrest, kidnap, torture and extradition of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This, finally nailed the widely speculated misinformation that he was arrested in a Brazilian Hotel. The Barrister stated that his client was actually abducted by the Kenyan Special Police Force on Friday 19th June 2021, on his arrival at the Kenya International Airport and was immediately whisked away to a secluded location. There, he was illegally detained and subjected to dehumanizing grades of torture for eight good days that resulted to his deteriorating health situation.
A week after that treatment, he was handed over to the Nigerian undercover security officials. He was then extradited to Nigeria under the guard of these operatives of the Nigerian Department of Security Services. There are presently growing concerns that the level of torture meted out against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by both Kenya and Nigeria, could have serious health implications amidst denials of meal and dehumanizing confinement.
The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), through the Head of Directorate of State (DOS), Mazi Chika Edozie, earlier had alerted the global community about this development. It sternly warned that nothing untoward should dare happen to the IPOB leader because such an event will never ever be condoned. "The rain that will fall, will definitely touch everybody".
This revelation that implicated Kenya's complicity and betrayal, hinges on the fact that if peradventure something negative befalls Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, that will permanently dent the robust relationship it has so far enjoyed over the years with the largest global indigenous mass movement ever to be known in modern day history. And when the nation of Biafra is eventually restored, that will be most devastating as establishment of ties will grossly hampered. Kenya has to be prepared to bear the corresponding consequences that may ensue in it's roles, in the event of any unhealthy development arising therefrom. Nnamdi Kanu is an international figure with intimidating followership of Biafrans that can influence situations anywhere in the world.
And whether the Nigerian government parted with large sums of money as bounty to the Kenyan authorities or not, the truth remains that all those involved in this debacle, have greviously misfired. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu remains the only salient figure amongst Biafrans anywhere, that can truly lead his people to freedom, from the death pangs and dungeons of Fulani enslavement.
The issue of Biafra restoration cannot be mortgaged as Biafrans are now determined more than ever before, to extricate themselves and their upcoming generations from the clutches of despondency, frustration, servitude, emasculation, vampirism and death, as orchestrated by the British government. Kenya and it's criminal allies should just hopefully pray that the IPOB leader, goes through this ordeal alive and healthy.
