 Why Is BBC Lying Against Biafra? A Rebuttal To The BBC Lies Against Nnamdi Kanu

The article written by one Nduka Orjinmo, an Igbo working with BBC, with the tittle "Nnamdi Kanu's arrest leaves Nigeria's IPOB separatists in disarray" is not only misleading, but a continuation of Media propaganda war of British Broadcasting Cooperation declared on the people of Biafra in 1967-70.

It was BBC that used their deadly propaganda of lies to confuse the world and make them think nothing was happening in Biafra land in 1967-70 as their Nigeria government supported by the British were committing war crimes against Biafrans. They hid what was happening to the world and made them think all was well. The Biafra - Nigeria war saw the killing of more than 3.5 million people, were children, men and women were gruesomely murdered with women topping the chart among the dead. While British government were using Russia in proxy to be sending weapons to Nigeria, they used their powers to make sure Biafrans are starved of weapons. BBC kept tagging Biafrans as Rebels. A name that put Biafrans at a disadvantaged position, and presented them as trouble makers. Here Biafrans who are victims became villains.

Recall that the war started after Northern Nigeria killed more than 50,000 Easterners and littered their corpses in the streets of the North. The Aburi accord agreement that would have brought peace was jettisoned by the Nigerian government, after BBC ran a story about how Gowon has succumbed to Ojukwu. This simply mean that Nigeria has succumbed to Biafra. This didn't go down well with Nigeria. They then chose war instead of peace. Funny enough, Nigeria, 51 years after the war is still talking about having the same solution the Aburi Ghana agreement brought to the table as to help Salvage the unsalvageable "One Nigeria".

Reading the publication of 4th July 2021 by BBC, it is very clear and certain that Britain is still bent on lying against the Biafrans, like they did in the 60s. But we are not going to let Britain repeat what they did in 1967 - 70 against Biafrans unchallenged. In 1967-70 Britain have the monopoly of the media and they used it against Biafra. Today, we have social media, and no matter how small our voices are, we will shout it to the world as to expose the British/ Nigeria atrocities against Biafrans.

This is exactly why I am going to take on this article as to expose both the barefaced lies and the coded ones put forward by BBC to demoralise Biafrans and keep the unworkable one Nigeria going for the benefit of Britain. I am going to be quoting some excerpts from the article as to do justice to it. Please be with me as we expose their lies against our people. 

Firstly, Mr Nduka started his propaganda against IPOB and Biafrans by saying that "the arrest of Nigerian separatist leader Nnamdi Kanu has dealt a serious blow to his group, and could even spell the end of his movement." This is a notorious lie told to help destroy Biafrans emotionally. To start with, this is not the first time Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is being arrested. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been arrested in 2016 by Buhari-APC led Nigeria corrupt government. He was incarcerated for nearly two years. Even after his bail, Nigeria Government also attacked his residence as to have him assassinated but ended up killing 28 men, including his niece in the night of 14th September, 2017. All these inhuman treatment meted on IPOB by the Nigerian State did not end the movement. So tell me how this second arrest will spell the end of the movement. This is a movement that is fueled by the determination of the indigenous people from the grassroots to stand up against Injustice, Islamization, Fulanization and state sponsored terrorism. How can the abduction of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu make the people to accept slavery in Nigeria over freedom in Biafra? There is nothing that will make the people of Biafra accept slavery or handover their God given lands to the Fulani of the Sahel. Therefore,  that mind game and emotional blackmail by the BBC will not work and won't be allowed to fester any longer. 

Mr Nduka continued...

"The images of his arrest, more than anything else, would have seriously undermined the confidence of even his staunchest supporters.

..." It was not the first time the 53-year-old Jewish convert has been paraded in handcuffs, but unlike previous occasions his customary defiance was missing. His days-old grey beard gave him a dishevelled look that not even his Fendi designer clothes could mask."

The above is another ploy by BBC to play on words as to deceive people. To start with, the images presented by Nigeria government showed a man that has been brutally tortured. A closer look at the picture will tell you that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu couldn't even carry ordinary handcuffs, as someone was seen holding him as not to fall. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu can be everything but he has never claimed God or immortal. He is a man that bleeds and feel pain.

IPOB leader, according to his lawyer Ifeanyi Ejiofor after his meeting with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu stated that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was abducted by Kenyan Special Police Force on 18th of June, 2021 and for 8 days they tortured him, before handing him over to Nigerian Government. A man that went under torture must appear weak. A man under torture can't have the luxury of a clean shave.

I put it to you that the cloth Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was presented with is probably not his. Don't forget that he was abducted by Kenyan Government on the 18th and Nigeria government broke the news on 2nd July after he was handed over to them. It is clear that the cloth he was wearing, upon the time of abduction and torturing weren't same with the one they presented him with on that Tuesday. The cloths he traveled with will no more be in good condition. Reason they quickly went for a 2000 Dollars Fendi cloth for him as to use it to raise their propaganda. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have earlier before now traveled to many places, including USA and Japan. Never have the humble IPOB leader be seen wearing such clothes. But Nigeria in a desperate push to force people to believe that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is only after good life, they made him appear on that cloth. But do the people care if Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is wearing 10,000 dollars suit? They don't care. Reacting to this shameful propaganda, someone have said that he is ready to buy Mazi Nnamdi Kanu more Fendi clothes. This is how much Biafrans love Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and are ready to die for him.

The question everyone should be asking is this, how did a professional BBC reporter not notice that the man he was gossiping about was tortured? They ignored this when Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's looks made it obvious. Probably because they have an agenda, which is to confuse the people and make them have second thought about Biafra. Britain is eager to lie against Biafra to keep the corruption they are sitting on in the oil communities in the East. Nigeria is a British baby and they are eager to keep her intact. Doing this includes pushing out deadly propaganda against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, IPOB and Biafrans in general.

BBC have accused Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of turning IPOB into a one-man show, and thereby conclude that there is a leadership vacuum in IPOB. Have you seen how BBC turned itself into a gossip center? A whole BBC? How did IPOB have a leadership vacuum when DOS led by Mazi Chika Edoziem have already addressed Biafrans and gave Nigeria Government 21 days to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu? At this moment, I want to say shame on BBC, but I won't say it yet. 

BBC even mentioned money dispute. This is shameful I must say. The arrests and killing of IPOB members didn't remove the spine of the movement, rather it strengthened it. Just like the gold is purified through the fire, freedom is gotten through suffering and paying the ultimate prize. I don't expect those fighting to keep as One, a country killing it's people, terrorising its people, supporting terrorists and recruiting them into the military to understand these things. 

The lies of BBC can't be over emphasised. From writing to downplay the brutal attack by Nigeria military on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's home, they also said that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu "ordered his supporters to attack police stations." This is a wicked lie told by a reputable international media like BBC. The attacks on police stations in Nigeria is being carried out by "Unknown Gunmen". Nigeria police have extrajudicially killed lots of Nigerians. This alone is capable of giving rise to Gunmen who are after revenge. The Nigerian SARS has also been accused of many heinous crimes, ranging from torture, murder and selling of human parts. The killings by Unknown gunmen is not only happening in Eastern part of Nigeria, it is happening in virtually all parts of Nigeria. 

How did BBC know that the weapons carried by ESN was stolen from police stations? Did BBC underwent an investigation before spewing this lie or could it be that the writer of the article while punching his keyboards suddenly knew it was all stolen weapons. BBC while trying to demonize IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and Biafrans in general, still believe that what is going on in Nigeria is Farmers/ Herders clash. Why is Britain siding with Fulani and lying against other people? The answer is simple. Nigeria is a British company. It is to the interest of Britain for the Fulani to be in charge so that they can continue to control everybody. Britain doesn't care if you are dying or not. They just want to guarantee their country of Eastern oil by keeping the Fulani in charge.

The Fulani herdsmen terrorists have attacked villages and communities killing thousands and raping countless women. They didn't attack farms, rather they attacked people's homes killing people including children and new born babies in their sleeps, yet BBC call it Farmers /Herders Clashes. This is pure evil. 

IPOB is asking for no other thing other than referendum. The same referendum Britain offered to Scotland. The same referendum Britain used to extricate themselves from EU? Why didn't Britain abduct the Scottish leader when she asked for referendum? How is asking for referendum a call for war? Why is BBC saying nothing as Nigeria military slaughter peaceful protesters? I think BBC should rather be questioning why Kenya and Nigeria abducted a British citizen, instead of telling all these cheap lies.

The creation of Nigeria is not an act of God, but an unwarranted act of man. A mistake of man that ought not to have been. Since the creation of Nigeria by Britain, it has been killing upon killing. Religious Riots led by Islamic North always claim the lives of people, especially that of the Easterners. Nigeria since the discovery of oil 61 years ago cannot boast of ordinary 24 hours electricity. Poverty is high and the oil producing communities are suffering environmental and air pollution. It has been looting upon looting. Britain will always report how corrupt Nigeria is, yet they dine with Nigeria corrupt leaders. In fact, it is this corruption that helps Britain to continue to keeping Nigeria one. Corruption in Nigeria sustains Britain. This is why Britain is against Easterners and love the North.

Dearest Biafrans, BBC can't love you, when it is certain that Britain hate you. They are the reason many of your fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters died in 1967-70 and they are ready to repeat it again. But we must rise up to them. We must tell them that #ThisIsNot1967. We must follow them and expose everyone of their lies. We must shame BBC and their likes by coming out enmass to support Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. There must be protest across the world. We must not let our leader down. We must not disappoint him, because he has not disappointed us. We must triumph.
