 Imo Visit: The One Tour Buhari Will Never Forget In Life

Thank you Biafrans! It was during Buhari's presidential visit to Owerri, Imo State, on Thursday September 9th 2021, that i really realized that the notion that, "Igbos hate themselves", became totally rubbished as a fallacy floated from the den of destroyers and disorganizers to deceive and ridicule. We love ourselves and that was why we were able to come together to achieve this great feat of our potency as a people despite the odds. 

Before the date of the presidential visit, the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), through the Head Of Directorate of State (HDOS), Mazi Chika Edoziem, had announced a one day Sit-At-Home Order, against the scheduled visit of the Nigerian President. This directive was welcomed and wholesomely obeyed, thereby activating a total lockdown of the Biafran region. 

Government firms and institutions were neither exceptions in the exercise. Market men and women  left their market areas and shops for the ghosts that day and nobody dared step out of his/her abode because the civil protest against the injustice being meted on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader particularly and Biafrans in general, by the Buhari led government, was wholly unacceptable.

The streets of all the states across Biafraland, were totally deserted and children were sighted playing football in the ever busy major roads which vehicles would have been plying for their normal daily businesses. Indeed, Thursday 9th September 2021, had gone down well in history, as a day Biafrans totally disgraced Buhari, the Nigerian President, in Biafraland, as he came like a king, attired in Igbo native dress, but was treated like a mere commoner. Biafrans do not want his leadership anymore because of his unrepentant murderous and tyrannical antecedents. 

It was only the Supreme Court Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, that welcomed him. The small crowd of persons seen on television, were a few rented members of their  party, APC. They had been paid ten thousand naira (#10,000) each with some few hired coaster buses, positioned to convey them to the scene where they stood by the roadsides and waved as the President, drove pass.

It might also interest you to note that for the renting of the crowd and hiring of the vehicles, we were made to understand through the State Governor's Special Adviser, that Mr. Hope Uzodinma, spent a whooping sum of Seven Hundred Million Naira (#700,000,000), just to host Buhari whom Biafrans had rejected long time ago, thereby aggravating the hurt. It is an unacceptable insult to our culture and dignity as a people and I think we have clearly spoken to Buhari in the language he understands. Every Igbo person is indigenous, regardless of what such believes in. Therefore, Buhari cannot proscribe the indigenous people, tag them terrorists and yet expect them to welcome him into their domain. 

The whole of Biafraland was turned into a ghost mood on Thursday 9th September 2021, and the Nigerian vampiric President was disgraced. We will continue to show the Nigerian government and all the Igbo saboteurs that we have rejected Nigeria and need them to release our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from detention unconditionally. He was arrested and illegally renditioned into Nigeria from Kenya, to languish in the dungeon of Department of State Services (DSS). An act quite unacceptable in the 21st century.
