Nigerian Government Is Desperately Setting Up Igbos Against IPOB--Mbazulike Amaechi Says
Mbazulike Amaechi the First Republic minister said It is becoming evidently clear on daily basis that with the antecedents of the Nigerian government, many prominent Igbo Biafrans of the South-East region, will definitely be assassinated in desperation, by the agents of Nigeria government. Citing the political killings going on in South Easth. Mbazulike said Igbos are being pitched by Nigeria government to fight against the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Nnamdi Kanu. It is being calculated by the stooges within Biafraland, that if they eventually succeed in wooing their fellow Igbos to fight Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB movement which he leads, the people can perpetually be gripped as slaves in Nigeria.
Fifty (50) years after the gruesome genocidal war against Biafrans, it yet surprises many that a personality like Nnamdi Kanu could emerge and courageously throw a challenge to the Nigerian government on the persecution of Ndi Igbo in Nigeria. It is an overwhelming encouragement , nobody thoughtfully conceived that after the 1967 to 1970 genocidal against Biafrans, that an Igboman would challenge the Nigerian government on behalf of his people, for liberation struggles. If the Igbos can stand up to contend against their own, definitely, no Igbo person will boldly rise up tomorrow to speak up against marginalization or acts of injustice meted to them Mbazulike emphasised
He said Igbo leaders should proactively engage IPOB and its leadership and not conniving with Nigeria government to kill the rightful liberation movement it globally champions for its people. This is the right way to go. Over the years, Igbos have suffered gross maltreatments in their union with other ethnicities all in the name of unity, with absolutely nothing progressive to show for it. It has been tales of woe, slavery, denial, death, pains, injustices, intimidation and deception. These should not be allowed to continue. All those therefore, that are willing themselves over to the Nigerian government as messengers of death and destruction against Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) should better have a rethink. His statement read in part
“Nigerian government knows the only way to defeat IPOB is by setting them up against Igbos.
Many prominent Igbos will be assassinated by federal government agents, so that Igbos will accuse and fight IPOB.
If they succeed in making Igbos fight Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, Igbos will forever be slaves in Nigeria.
It took Igbos 50 years after civil war for someone like Nnamdi Kanu to have the courage to challenge Nigeria, which no one had ever done.
If Igbos fight and kill IPOB, do you think another Igbo man will have courage to speak up against marginalisation?
Igbos leaders should engage IPOB not kill them.”
