 The Ongoing Unlawful Mass Arrest Of Nkalagu Indigenes By The Nigerian Army

The people of Nkalagu in Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, are currently raising alarm concerning the unlawful mass arrest of their fellow indigenes by the officers and men of the Nigerian army. This is being perpetrated through the assistance of Ebonyi State Government formed Ebubeagu Security Outfit. It all started on Saturday 6th November 2021, with the soldiers in company of Ebubeagu security personnel, moving from house to house, and picking innocent young and elderly men.

Eye witness account has it that the Ebubeagu securitymen had misunderstanding in their midst in Nkalagu community which resulted in dangerous exchange of gunfire, as a way of testing their power of satanic fortification and capability (odieshi). Unfortunately for them however, some members failed victim. The surviving ones took to their heels having noticed the death of their colleagues. 

In order to save their heads and cover up the truth, contrary reports were made both to the police and the army. They stated that some youths of the community had embarked on a killing spree, which involved their members being killed. The Ebubeagu local vigilante leader in Ishielu local government area, Mr. Anayochukwu Odoh Nwajogwo (aka Ashawo), was part of this criminal act.
