History Leaves You No Option Aside To Support Nnamdi Kanu--Fr. Ebube Mmonso
The Spiritual Director of Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Anambra State, Fr. Ebube Muonso has voiced out his sincere notion on the issues surrounding the support for Biafra restoration struggle and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafr(IPOB). According to Father Mmonso, history has a lot of impact on whom to supports, and there is great need to know your history well enough. This was part of Father Mmonso's expressions during the new year Holy Ghost Adoration service in Uke.
Father Mmonso expressed serious concern on how history of Biafra and Biafrans have been scarce and in short supply since the civil war, making it clearly appear to be a deliberate attempt to blind the people. In the respected Cleric's own words, "If you only know your history, you would know that you have no other option than to support Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in his quest for Biafra freedom."
We can recall that one of the new year action plans announced by the Head of Directorate Of States(HDOS) to the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB), Mazi Chika Edoziem on the 1st of January 2022 was the creation of an educational department in IPOB, which will have the primary responsibility of teaching our history, language, tradition and culture to younger Biafrans. The importance of this plan has been affirmed by the Rev fr. Ebube Muonso.
There's great connection between man and history. And the importance of history includes helping us understand other cultures, helping us understand our own society, helping us understand our identity, builds citizenship, gives insight into present-day problems, builds reading and writing skills, etcetera.
If you do not know where rain started beating you, you might likely not know where it stops. A nation/man without history is far lost. The importance of history to human cannot be over emphasized.
Therefore, people of Biafra and every other entrapped ethnic nation in the British contraption called Nigeria, should hasten to start asking critical questions about their national histories. Then, like Father Mmonso said, they will be left with no other choice than to support IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in the quest for the respect of self determination of all people, starting from Biafra.
