 Nigerian Army Fails To Produce Ikechukwu Henry In Court, Claimed He Was Handed Over To DSS After Arrest                                                      

The Nigeria Army has again failed to produce Mazi Ikechukwu Henry to court today 25 March, contrary to the court order on 23 March 2022.  Hon. Justice I.N Buba of the Federal High Court Enugu previously ordered the military to produce Ikechukwu Henry whether dead or alive.

According to the respondent representing the Nigeria Army, he claimed Ikechukwu was handed over to the DSS after his arrest but they can not ascertain if he's in Enugu branch or Abuja.

The Judge insisted that the applicants (Ikechukwu) must be produced, he asked respondent to deposed an affidavit to the DSS and ascertain when and which of the DSS branch is the applicant kept.

Judge also insisted that all these efforts must be done or before 30th of March 2022. And if found that Ikechukwu Henry is with the DSS, he shall make an order to join DSS in the suit.

Meanwhile during a brief interview with the Counsel representing the applicant, Nnaemeka Ejiofor  Esq. He commend the efforts made so far by the preceding Judge over the fundamental rights enforcement suit for Mazi Ikechukwu Henry.

The matter was adjourned to 30th of March 2022.

Mazi Ikechukwu Henry was abducted since August 2021 without changing him to court.
