EXPOSED: Plot by APC To Publish Fake Presidential Election Results Leaked
A diabolical plot by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to release doctored presidential election results tomorrow morning has been uncovered.
This comes after glaring evidence that the APC had lost the presidential election by a landslide in Lagos, Rivers, and Kano States. These are the tripod states where the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, had hoped to secure most of his votes.
Evidence of this sinister plot was leaked to us around 11 pm by a serving minister in President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet, who secretly supports Labour Party’s Peter Obi.
At the time of reporting this, inside information reveals that APC is furiously trying to compromise INEC to doctor the election result under cover of night.
Our sources familiar with the situation informed our correspondent that there are high level moves to bribe INEC to doctor the election results in favour of Bola Tinubu of the APC engineered by Mr Tinubu and his allies, Nyesom Wike, the Rivers State governor.
“Officials have been offered as much as $100 million to change the results to favour Tinubu,” the source said. “As I speak, there is effort to manipulate the upload portal and compromise the results.”
“They’ve switched into 2015 mode – full-scale propaganda. Their social media warriors have gone into action tweeting fake results without corresponding result sheets. Just to create the impression they are winning. But they know from the agents on the ground that we’ve lost.
“Defeat is hard to accept. Particularly, for a personality like Asiwaju [Bola Tinubu],” the source concluded.
Independent result collation by several external bodies, experts and observers has revealed that these manufactured election results are obviously concocted were simulated in the APC Situation Room.
For example, the fake results show Tinubu winning 25% of the votes in Anambra State is impossible because all exit polls in Anambra indicate that Mr Obi has swept Anambra State by over 90% of the votes.
Our source also reveals that the APC plans to pressure INEC overnight to accept the doctored result and publish it on their website.
Palpable Tension In Nigeria As INEC Officials Refuse To Upload Presidential Results On Server
There is growing disquiet across the country following the failure of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) to transmit the results of the February 25, 2023, presidential election to the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
According to reports from voters, polling agents, and eyewitnesses, INEC officials have claimed they do not have passwords to upload the election results to the central INEC database.
While commenting on the issue in a statement obtained by The Trent, the national Chairman of the Labour Party, Barrister Julius Abure, condemned the situation where the results of the presidential elections collated in various polling units in the state are not being uploaded to the central server.
According to Julius Abure, INEC officials, in connivance with the security agencies, claim that the BVAS has suddenly developed a fault and, therefore, cannot function.
Abure revealed that Labour Party agents had raised an alarm that INEC officials claim BVAS suddenly developed faults in places like Agege, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Surulere, and Ibeju Lekki, amongst others, where results show the party winning won convincingly.
“Information reaching me has it that in Lagos, they have refused to upload the results for the presidential election, they have uploaded that of the Senate and House of Representatives, but for the presidential, they have refused. And they are using the police to drive our agents and supporters out of the place. And they said that they have firm instruction from INEC headquarters not to upload.
“For example, in Kosofe, they put the collation centre in a Local Government Area Headquarters. The place is sorrounded by APC and people are afraid of their life. They are not uploading, they said that they have been giving instruction to insist that the BVAS is faulty. And most of the places we won, but they have refused to upload.
“As I speak, APC officials are in Yaba office of INEC negotiating with the officials. What I have said now is happening in Agege, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Surulere, we have this situation all over. In Ibeju Lekki, our local government chairman who attempted to stop them was arrested by the police.”
Abure further revealed a similar situation is playing out in Delta state, calling on INEC to ensure that only genuine and verifiable results generated from the various polling units should be uploaded.
Professor Pat Utomi, a senior Labour Party chieftain, also spoke out against the ugly trend in a since-deleted tweet, calling on the INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, to step up and remedy the situation.
“Just spoke to Labour Party Chairman Abure who fears that the upload failure epidemic may be seen by the youth as attempt to rig a clear Labour landslide across the country. He is scared that if they hit the streets Nigeria could burn. I urge Chairman Yakubu to redeem himself,” he tweeted.
Also commenting on the trending matter, Valentine Ozigbo, the Special Adviser to the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, on Technology and Strategic Alliances, called for INEC to take steps so Nigeria does not implode owing to the failure of a technology that should have taken four years to perfect.
“This situation in which ONLY PRESIDENTIAL RESULTS are not being uploaded from the BVAS to the INEC Server as planned needs to be handled carefully. Millions of Nigerian youth are watching INEC’s next steps on this issue. We need responsible leadership at this time. Nigeria must not be allowed to implode because of a tech failure,” Ozigbo said.
