IPOB disowns "Motherland Warriors" says the movement has no youth wing
THE Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has declared it has no youth wing, saying Motherland Warriors are not its members.
IPOB who said that the Motherland Warriors were an organised criminals sponsored by some politicians in Enugu State against their opponents, urged the public to ignore them.
The IPOB in a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Mr. Emma Powerful titled: “Motherland Warriors are sponsored criminals not ESN operatives,” said Motherland Warriors wanted to hide under the Eastern Security Network, ESN, to unleash terror against their opponents.
IPOB’s statement read: “We, the global family and movement of the IPOB under the leadership and command of Nnamdi Kanu, wish to state unequivocally to all and sundry that the criminals camping in bushes of some parts of Enugu State, claiming that they are ESN Motherland Warriors, are neither ESN operatives nor IPoB members.
“ESN operatives do not have nicknames; they do not have any social media handle on Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp. These organized criminals are sponsored by the Nigeria government and some politicians in Enugu State, some traditional rulers, religious leaders, and other state actors in Enugu State.
“Their targets can be known in the viral video that they released in Enugu State. They claimed that they are ESN, but they are not ESN and do not speak for ESN. The Nigeria government and some criminal politicians in Enugu State through some unscrupulous elements have hired criminals to keep impersonating ESN as a means to blackmail IPoB and ESN with criminality, but that can’t work.
