IPOB Warns Biafran People To Avoid Any Protest About Hardship In Nigeria, Says 'Our Goal Is Biafra'
The Directorate Of State(DOS) of The Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) have warned Biafrans to dissociate selves from the recent uproar in Nigeria by predominantly the North and South West as a result of the unbearable hardship brought about by ill-conceived and unruly economic policies of the Nigerian president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu - who assumed governance barely eight months ago. The IPOB-DOS gave this explicit warning and advice particularly to all residents and Indigenes of the Old Nigerian Eastern Region(Biafraland).
In a post made on the Movement's official verified X handle(formerly Twitter) - @real_IpobDOS, as obtained by Family Writers Press International(FWPI), the IPOB Head of Directorate, Mazi Chika Edoziem urged the Biafran populace to be at alert and remember that the strategic national goal and focus of the East is "a Free Biafran Nation", and thus, it is important that the East maintains apathy, ambivalence and not join in ANY Nigerian civil action or disobedience, in what is widely viewed as a trap and a family issue with those who less than a year ago conspired to denigrate, spite and physically attacked Indigenes of East for making a political choice and will, and even until recently continues to do so, if not for the economic hardship that has awoken and ushered them back to reality.
He insists that the direction of "The Ancestors" is for the Dead to bury the Dead. Hence, no protest will be tolerated by the IPOB movement in the whole of Biafraland for reasons pertaining the economic hardship, as obtainable in other regions of the Nigerian enclave. Further stating that anyone who default or disregards this directive would have themselves to blame.
In the same vein, the General Officer Commanding(GOC) of the Eastern Security Network(ESN), Mazi Chinasa Nworu also issued a warning to Igbos and all Biafran Indigenes who might be unwise enough to organize such event on Biafran soil, stating that the purported protest could serve as a smokescreen by Federal government to "import more criminals" to cause havoc and criminality in the East which is already battling the State-sponsored criminality for over three years.
Mazi Chinasa enjoined the IPOB intelligence unit, M-branch and ESN to be on alert to identify those that would at the behest of the enemy organize such event in Biafraland. He at the same time released the IPOB enquiry hotlines, and adviced residents to call and report such any of such activities, if found anywhere in the region.
