South-East Governors, Political Class Are Direct Beneficiaries Of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu Continued Incarceration
The South-East political class has always been in loggerheads with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu especially as it concerns his genuine popularity and followership from the people drawn-out of his criticism against their ineptitude in productive governance, corruption and unaccountability that has obtained for decades.
Irrespective of partisan affiliation amongst them. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB movement he leads, has been a threat that unites them across the board. With many of them, actively teaming up with the external enemies, or granting passive support to whatever aggression unleashed on the duo not minding the consequences or aftermath of such actions in their various states, jurisdiction or more extensively the South-East region.
Sequel to the arrest of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in 2015 by the Nigerian government. The South-East political class feigned ambivalence in his incarceration after Kanu refused to compromise on his core demands of the agitation which were essentially all about the socio-economic development of the SouthEast. It is important to buttress that Kanu was willing to drop the agitation in 2015 if the federal government was ready to dispel the marginalization policies fashioned against the South-East, which most of these political juggernauts when confronted for accountability over their incompetence cites as the reason for their compounded failure.
Yet, they failed to rally round to secure his release. It took the concerted effort of the IPOB movement as well as certain quarters, personalities to secure his release through bail.
We must not forget that after his eventual release in 2017, same South-East political class in cahoot with the Ohanaeze Ndigbo etc laid the ground work for the military invasion of the SouthEast as a consequence of which, the South-East has never remain the same again, security wise. The Python Dance/Crocodile Smile military operations heralded the insecurity challenges which is being combated in South East today and the political class out of envy, jealousy and the bid to protect their corrupt activities/assets, made it possible.
The creation of kill-machine, Ebubeagu militia was as a result of this concerted to sabotage every genuine effort to secure the South-East by the IPOB movement.
Fast forward to 2021, when Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was kidnapped and extraordinarily renditioned from Kenya. These politicians from the South-East were actively instrumental and reportedly made huge financial contributions, sponsorship of criminal operations executed by the Nigerian secret service. These same men are sabotaging the current effort to secure the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu according to the secretary general of the Ohanaeze.
The efforts of these men of perdition are simply to protect their corrupt activities and to evade accountability.
An end to the criminality, corruption and political rascality. That is what Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB represent. This is what the Biafra nation's sovereignty portends.
It must be established that the release of the IPOB Leader rests on the shoulders of the IPOB movement and Biafrans worldwide not necessarily in the political class in Biafraland. The struggle of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is innately against their uncanny interests.
IPOB will secure the release of her leader, through the mechanism of local and international strategies. The Biafra nation will be reborn and all those who took struggle for emancipation and its proponents as enemies will be forced to exit the stage for the people to take control of their own destiny.
History and posterity shall be the judge of all and the roles they played at this crucial time in the history of the Biafran race.
