 IPOB Floors Army Claims Of 13 Members Killed, Backs AES Revelation Of Nigeria Being Terrorism Confection In Sahel

The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) movement has denied claims of the Nigerian military over 13 members of the movement killed in Enugu State, South East, calling it illusionary propaganda concocted by the Nigerian military to instill and raise fear in the minds of South east residents who swarmed into the region to celebrate the yuletide season. 

In a statement issued to the press by the movement’s media and publicity secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful, IPOB maintained that non of its members were killed as its members are not armed nor engaged in a combat face-off or altercation with the Nigerian military. Further accusing the Nigerian military of vindictiveness, conspiracy against the IPOB movement to sway the global community and indiscriminate killings of innocent citizens of the SouthEast, citing the recently published 9-years long comprehensive report by Human Rights group, Intersociety, about the activities and destruction of lives and properties, displacement of indegines from their ancestral homes by the Nigerian military. 

According to the report themed 'NIGERIA, OCEAN OF INNOCENT BLOOD FLOWING IN THE EAST' , the Nigerian security forces killed 32,300 defenseless citizens including the abducted and disappeared, tortured and bodily eviscerated numbering in tens of thousands, 6000 civilian homes valued at over N450billion burnt down, 300 defenseless Igbo communities with over 180,000 inhabitants sacked and over a million others displaced. 

Thus, the IPOB movement asserted that the Nigerian government, military is involved in a conspiracy with islamic terrorists, jihadist to overrun the  South-East and as such aiming to destroy the IPOB movement and its Security Network (ESN) fashioned against the influx and terrorism of the Fulani terrorists swarming through the north from the Sahel towards the East. 

"The Directorate of State (DOS) of the noble family and movement of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) wish to debunk the falsehood and concocted propaganda peddled by the Nigeria Military in Enugu State of killing 13 IPOB members. The Nigerian Army is  fear-mongering." 

"They planned to use this fake news of killing 13 IPOB members to scare away Ndigbo from returning and enjoying their Christmas in their respective homes in the South East Region. These scare tactics by the Nigeria government and its compromised military will not work."

"IPOB understands Nigerian Government and its Nigerian military uses the name of the peaceful noble family of the IPOB movement and ESN to deceive the general public international community into believing that they are working on insecurity in our territory. The Nigerian Army in the South East are not curtailing insecurity." 

"The Nigerian government and her murderous military colluded with Fulani terrorists to overrun Biafra Land. That is why we allege that the Nigerian Army target is to destroy IPOB and ESN, who are the only formidable obstacle to their Fulanization agenda. stead, they are fueling the insecurity to justify the genocide they committed and have continued to commit against Ndigbo," the statement reads in part.

IPOB in the same vein backed the recent intelligence-based revelation by the Niger Republic military leader, a member of AES confederate union, Abdourhamane Tchiani, that the Nigerian government, military and intelligence circle are in active collaboration with the French sponsored jihadists Lukarawa, to destabilize their countries and the wider Sahel. 

The AES has placed its forces on high alert and combat readiness, as they accused the Nigeria military contingents of sabotaging its crude oil pipeline at its border with Benin Republic, as well as resettlement of French military contingents, displaced in Chad, Mali etc in the northern Nigeria. 

According to the IPOB statement, none of its member nor operatives within the ranks of the Eastern Security Network was killed, while also assuring that the agitation for Biafra self-determination will continue until victory is achieved. 

"IPOB family members and ESN Operatives are all intact. There is no loss of IPOB family members or ESN operatives as claimed by the Nigerian Army.  As long as IPOB and the international community are concerned,  IPOB members are non-violent self- determination movement." 

"On the other hand, ESN are armed disciplined Vigilantees that are mandated to dislodge Fulani terrorist and kidnappers masquerading as herdsmen in the South East Forests and bushes. IPOB will not retreat nor surrender on defending our people or in restoring our fatherland - Biafra Nation."
