Bad Influence Corrupt Young People and Pushes Them Into Criminality--IPOB Warns Cubana Chief Priest to Amend His Ways

In the recent Radio Biafra broadcast of 18/01/2025, Mazi Chinasa Nworu expressed grave concerns about the influence of Cubana Chief Priest on the Biafran society, particularly the youths in the South-East region.

Mazi Nworu decried the fake luxurious lifestyle displayed by Chief Priest and his fellow social media influencers using his collection of cars, which may have gotten through illicit means, as destructive development having a very negative impact on the youths. Turning them away from skill acquisition, education, following due process towards financial sustainability and pushing them into crimes and illicit quick wealth ventures.

Mazi Nworu clarified that the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have no personal vendetta against Mr Chief Priest or anyone else for that matter, over how they get their wealth or choose to spend them. However, their concern lies in the negative impact of their actions on the youth in the southeast region. Urging them to stop driving the youths who looks at their extravagant display of wealth into crimes as a easy means to meet up to their exorbitant wants.

Mazi Chinasa buttressed that those who flaunt wealth without any concrete economic development initiative to help alleviate, boost and enhance the economy of the SouthEast does not have their interests at heart. Instead, some of their activities are an actual discouragement to prospective interested parties who wants to take part in the economic development of Biafraland. The same people who talk about insecurity in parts of the SouthEast as the discouraging factor for investments engage in sorts of anti-peace activities including cultism, running brothels etc

Mazi Chinasa Nworu juxtaposed their hypocrisy with regards to display convenience for them to host cultism activities in the East but express inconvenience when it comes to bringing their productive businesses to same South-East. They  quickly disregard their preference for Lagos and instead opt for the Southeast, an area they paradoxically claim is insecure to host and practice their cult-related activities.

Cultism has devastating effects on society, including promoting criminality, drug trafficking, and other social vices. This concern prompted Mazi Nworu to urge the public especially youths as well as parents to take note of the potential consequences of fake social media lifestyle display by celebrity influencers which the gullible youths are falling prey to and urged for an urgent precautionary measure to save the next generation from damnation.

Finally he assured that the IPOB movement is committed to protecting the interests of the people of the South-East and Biafrans all over Nigeria and promoting a safe and secure environment for all in Biafraland hence will bring to the fore and notice to the Biafran public, every social vices that would bring degeneracy and destruction to Biafraland for a concerted effort and collaboration to ensure that such vices are fought off.
