 IPOB Affirms ESN As 'Last Line Of The Biafran People' Calls For Support To Enable The Defense Against Fulani Terrorism 

Following the latest massacre and carnage by the Fulani herdsmen against communities in Ebonyi State on Sunday 2nd February 2025, which claimed the lives of over 20 people displacing hundreds more, the Directorate of States of the IPOB movement has reacted to the tragic incident calling on the South-East indegines in the diaspora to shun procrastination and make haste in supporting the volunteers of the Eastern Security Network to provide security and defense against the invading marauding herdsmen in the Eastern region. 

This was made known in a statement issued on the movement’s X official handle, [@real_ipobDOS], which allured that the latest by the Fulani herdsmen was a daring test on the resolve of members of the SouthEast communities to defend themselves. Hence, it urged the South-East indigenes especially those leaving in the diaspora to sit up and contribute to the defense project of the SouthEast against these international terrorists.

"My dear Indigenous People of Biafra, friends of Biafra and lovers of freedom, we are about to enter into a very critical phase and time in our history as a people." 

"The Fulani jihadists and their backers have begun to test the ground in our land as well as test our resolve to protect ourselves and our heritage."

"The time of sitting on the fence has expired, the thought that you are not affected directly by the cold blooded execution of innocent Biafran youths because you reside in the Diaspora should be discarded, and the attitude of it does not concern me must be reapprased." 

"We have only one option at our disposal, and that option is to support the ESN, the last line of  self-defence of the Biafran people."

The statement went on to accuse some of the South-East Governors, as well as the Nigerian security agencies in the South-East of being polarized and infiltrated by the terrorists, thus involved in a conspiracy with the herdsmen, shielding them from reprisal attacks from their victims and failing to respond to protect the defenseless citizens when being attacked by the herdsmen.

"Your governors are busy asking you to wait for the Nigerian security agencies to protect you, the same security agencies peopled with the same Fulani BokoHaram fighters, which protect the killer Foulani murderers and massacre Biafrans in cold blood. Most of your governors working in sinc with the Nigerian establishment are using the blood of Biafrans to water the ground of their political ambitions."

Thus, the statement enjoined all South-East residents, Ndigbo to support the defense of Biafraland through the Eastern Security Network volunteers.
